Carry-Down Only
There's no actual ramp here for trailered boats — it's a carry-down access with a portable boarding pier set up for kayaks and canoes. If you're trying to launch a pontoon or anything on a trailer, you need to look elsewhere on Torch Lake.
Parking Fills Fast
Four trailer spots is all you get, and the general parking isn't much better. On summer weekends and especially holidays like the 4th of July, the lot fills by mid-morning. Get there early or you're out of luck — there's no real overflow option nearby.
Watch The Fees
Non-residents pay a launch fee plus a separate parking fee that can run $20-$30 combined. The parking fee signs are small and tucked toward the back of the lot, easy to miss. They do tow, and the tow truck is apparently a regular visitor, so don't skip the payment.
More Park Than Launch
This spot shines as a day-use park — shelters, grills, a playground, a nice little swim beach on crystal-clear Torch Lake water. If you're paddling, it's a solid put-in. But if you're comparing it to a proper boat launch with lanes and staging room, this isn't that.
