Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Paddle Launch Only
There's no actual boat ramp here — zero lanes, no concrete. It's a wooden rail slide that lets you guide your canoe, kayak, or raft down the bank to the water. Don't even think about trailering a motorboat to this spot.
The Rail System
The raised wooden rail is actually pretty slick for getting a kayak or canoe down to the Jordan River without scrambling through mud. It runs from the parking area all the way to the water's edge. Just line up your hull and let gravity do the work.
Tight Parking Window
Only about six spots up top, and on summer weekends they fill by mid-morning since this is a popular put-in for the Jordan River canoe run. If you're doing a shuttle with a buddy, drop your gear first and have them park back up the road.
Scenic But Shallow
The Jordan River here is a narrow, shallow trout stream — gorgeous for paddling and pictures, but you're floating through inches of water in some stretches during late summer. This is small-water territory, pure and simple.
Outhouse & That's It
There's a vault toilet on site, which is more than some of the other Jordan River access points can say. No other amenities though — no dock, no fish cleaning station, no nothing. Bring what you need.
