Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Rough Ramp Surface
The ramp itself is in rough shape — uneven and a bit beat up. Take it slow backing down, especially with a lighter trailer that might bounce around on you.
Parking Fills Fast
Only 10 trailer spots, and on a summer weekend you'll be out of luck by mid-morning. There's a grass overflow area, but it turns into a swamp after any decent rain, so don't count on it if weather's been wet.
Small Lake Charm
East Crooked is a quieter Livingston County lake that doesn't draw the big crowds like Kent or Chemung. Great for smaller boats and kayaks — you're not fighting wake boats all day. The fishing is solid if you know where to work the edges.
Single Lane Bottleneck
One lane in, one lane out. If someone ahead of you is struggling to load, you're just sitting there. Weekday mornings are the move — weekends you'll want to be first in line or very patient.
